Passivity Kills April 28, 2009

Nations will rise and fall……and in this end time we have a responsibility to stand up and do what we can to help those who are falling or are in danger of being lost to get upright and be able to stand in these dark times. Being passive in this time is a dangerous thing.

When God commands me to stand………and to learn to stand still…….you must understand that that is an ACTIVE term. Imagine playing King of the Hill…….you are the king of the Hill and your friends are trying to knock you off of the hill……..is that a passive game? No…..it is a very active game of guarding a piece of property………it requires DISCERNMENT, Constant ADJUSTMENT AND CHANGE…..especially of your tactics, and it requires an understanding of what your opponent is really doing in order to provide a counter-defense.

God wants us to take the mountains of this culture:the church, the family, the media(and technology), law and government, business and finance, the arts, and education. He want secular music taken back. He wants the UN taken back. He wants DC taken back. He wants Hollywood taken back. But taking them is easy…….HOLDING THEM is a very different story.

That is the issue…….HOW do you hold a place that you have just taken from the enemy….? the key is in 1st Chronicles 11. David conquers the city of the Jebusites and makes it his capital. Shortly after this He immediately wants the ark of God’s presence there? Is this wise, David? This territory is still enemy territory to a certain degree…….occupied territory……..why put the most cherished possession of the Hebrews in harms way?

Because to Hold the ground of the City of Jebus He had to get God’s presence to the top of the mountain. You see, David took the mountain PHYSICALLY, but to take it SPIRITUALLY, he had to get God’s presence to the top of the City of Jebus……..to displace the spiritual powers that had resided on the mountain for hundreds of years. Only then, could the City of Jebus become Jerusalem……a perpetual inheritance of the Hebrews……..only then could it be the City of Zion………and David alludes to that in His Psalms.

So a Tabernacle of David is not built in the Church per se……..but in territory you want to occupy for the Lord………..Territory you want to HOLD for the Lord…………so we invade Hollywood or Secular music get social capital, and a group of Remnant Elites(Christians at the top of your arena), then like William Wilberforce we gather together in a tabernacle environment…..worship God, pray, plan, declare and creatively sharpen one another in an environment that is designed to focus our gifts and callings into the purpose heaven has for our arena……….a Tabernacle of David…….It’s kind of like a Greenwich Village, but pointed in a different direction…….

What could such a community provide? The ability to stand………to take ground and hold it…….to prevent passivity by the gathering of these gifted people together in community, in worship and in declaration……….and the strategic planning that allows us to maintain our influence in these arenas and most importantly to pass it down from generation to generation………..David understood this and so must we.

repetition vs new ideas. April 3, 2009

so I am reading this other blog, where a songwriter talks about repetition vs new ideas in songwriting……..and the basic idea is something J. R. R. Tolkien dealt with in Fantasy in his essay “On Fairy Stories”. A particular passage leaps to my memory……..

“Fantasy, of course, starts out with an advantage: arresting strangeness. But that advantage has
been turned against it, and has contributed to its disrepute. Many people dislike being
“arrested.” They dislike any meddling with the Primary World, or such small glimpses of it as
are familiar to them. They, therefore, stupidly and even maliciously confound Fantasy with
Dreaming, in which there is no Art; and with mental disorders, in which there is not even
control: with delusion and hallucination.
But the error or malice, engendered by disquiet and consequent dislike, is not the only cause
of this confusion. Fantasy has also an essential drawback: it is difficult to achieve. Fantasy
may be, as I think, not less but more sub-creative; but at any rate it is found in practice that
“the inner consistency of reality” is more difficult to produce, the more unlike are the images
and the rearrangements of primary material to the actual arrangements of the Primary
World. It is easier to produce this kind of “reality” with more “sober” material. Fantasy thus,
too often, remains undeveloped; it is and has been used frivolously, or only half-seriously, or
merely for decoration: it remains merely “fanciful.” Anyone inheriting the fantastic device of
human language can say the green sun. Many can then imagine or picture it. But that is not
enough—though it may already be a more potent thing than many a “thumbnail sketch” or
“transcript of life” that receives literary praise.
To make a Secondary World inside which the green sun will be credible, commanding
Secondary Belief, will probably require labour and thought, and will certainly demand a
special skill, a kind of elvish craft. Few attempt such difficult tasks. But when they are
attempted and in any degree accomplished then we have a rare achievement of Art: indeed
narrative art, story-making in its primary and most potent mode.”

J.R.R. Tolkien—On Fairy Stories

He indicates that there is a balance between how much of the natural ordinary ideas that are merely a repeat of what we already see in life and in popular culture that must be balanced with new ideas for the new ideas to be potent and effective. We need new ideas….but they must be built on the foundation of older ones and in the context of them. Fantasy languishes if it is too fantastical, and New ideas languish, if they are not put into context with older ideas.

But the key here is not simply to do what everyone else is doing…….but to do something new on the foundation of what has been done and what is being done. But the balance between past, present and future is not easy to do in creativity and these days we tend to get more derivative works than creative ones. It’s just easier to go the safe route.

Tolkien, later in the essay, makes another statement:

“Fantasy is a natural human activity. It certainly does not destroy or even insult Reason; and it
does not either blunt the appetite for, nor obscure the perception of, scientific verity. On
the contrary. The keener and the clearer is the reason, the better fantasy will it make. If men
were ever in a state in which they did not want to know or could not perceive truth (facts
or evidence), then Fantasy would languish until they were cured. If they ever get into that
state (it would not seem at all impossible), Fantasy will perish, and become Morbid Delusion.
For creative Fantasy is founded upon the hard recognition that things are so in the world as
it appears under the sun; on a recognition of fact, but not a slavery to it. So upon logic was
founded the nonsense that displays itself in the tales and rhymes of Lewis Carroll. If men
really could not distinguish between frogs and men, fairy-stories about frog-kings would not
have arisen”

J.R.R Tolkien —On Fairy Stories

The idea in creativity often is to re frame a truth with new clothing. Oftentimes we take ideas for granted and we stop seeing the value in them because we have seen them too much in one form. So re-clothing a truth in a new creative form helps us process it once again and perhaps learn that we don’t know that truth as much as we thought we did. Which is the whole point of creativity.

Once we understand the relationship of new things to old things and fundamental truths wrapped in new creative clothing……we begin to see the value of going forward into new creative territory. If we do not…..we will not only have a drab life, but lose the power and the understanding of the truths that we have…..thinking that we understand them…….we will take them for granted and lose them……

“professing themselves to be wise, they became foolish.”

Hearing and Doing March 20, 2009

If God has to choose between hearing and doing….he generally chooses hearing over doing. Doing is important to God…….but hearing is vital if doing is going to be effective in society.

So, for example, if I had two people…..person A and person B……..and they are making food for person C’s birthday. Person A slaves over a hot stove for hours and hours on a seafood casserole while person goes to the store at the last second and buys something from the store, like a pie or something.

When the birthday comes, person c has some of the pie……but none of the seafood casserole and person A’s feelings get hurt. person A asks person c why they didn’t have any of their food and person c replies:

“I am allergic to seafood”

Whups……person A didn’t find out whether or not person c could have that food before making it for them.

Ever get a gift for an occasion that was really expensive, but you have absolutely no use for it. You think in your head….”Boy I really wish I had the time and money that went into this gift so that I could use it on something I really want.” Well, God gets a lot of gifts like that………they are really expensive……but He cannot use them in anything He really wants to do…..

God asks for the APPOINTED sacrifice, not simply a sacrifice. God wants you to succeed BUT ACCORDING TO THE DESIRE OF HEAVEN. Satan also wants you to succeed……..just not according to the desire of heaven. When He tempted Jesus, He tempted Him with 3 shortcuts to being king…………but getting there in such a way that it violated His Father’s heart.

Jesus was not there to be King(successful)……..But Savior(successful according to the desire of heaven)……that is, a king who lays his life down on behalf of others……who uses his success to accomplish the Father’s will, set free the captives and bring Glory to God.

To be successful according to the desire of heaven requires more than effective doing……but the ability to hear God and be the expression of His love to others……..even as Jesus is the word of God…….so I and you are the Word’s of Christ…….His expression to a fallen world……….

Hearing First……..then doing………….like an interpreter that stands between heaven and earth going to heaven and receiving a message from a father……..then coming back to earth and expressing that message in our creativity to both people in the church and outside of it……….in all arenas……both church arenas and secular arenas……..

It can be done……….and the Gospel of the Kingdom is being restored in this hour……….but the key is Hearing first…..then doing…….not simply a sacrifice, but an appointed one……….not just success…..but success according to the desire of heaven………not a religious statement………but an expression of a loving Father in the arena you are in……..with the language that best helps lost people to understand what is meant by what is said………….

A revolution is coming to the church……but more than a revolution……….

A Rennaisance.

Worship Principles of Jesus Temptation November 8, 2007

God showed me 3 principles for worship and creativity that are found in His temptation.    These are guidelines for creativity and moving into the various arenas of the culture…….what our creativity should have as its focus and should be accomplishing.  When Satan tempted Jesus, his basic tact was to try to find shortcuts for the Lord to accomplish his work in his own way.  But Jesus joy was to satisfy his father in bringing the sons of earth home to the Father(John 3:16), and the reason that we cannot be separated from the love of God is because Jesus could not be separated from His love of His Father and fulfilling the Joy of His father.  So out of this study, I found 3 principles that helped me form  statements about worship and creativity in General.

*3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4: But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.*

1.  My Worship needs to be an expression of the message of Heaven, that which is proceeding out of the Father’s mouth just now, not an attempt to meet an emotional need in men.

*5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6: And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7: Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. *

2. My worship should not be an attempt to meet the demands or expectations of men but an expression of a loving Father and a process of relationship with Him and from Him through me to others around me.    (Tempt means to twist God’s justice, to shortcut his process in your life….in essence.)

*
:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9: And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10: Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve*

3. My worship is not to make me or anyone else happy, but to bring Jesus his reward just now in the earth.  That reward is me.

It is Jesus purpose in the earth to bring His Father his reward, which is to bring his sons home to him through the doorway that is the cross of Christ.  It is Christ-likeness in me that serves as the window through which the Father engages His sons and I act as an interpreter of his message.  Oftentimes in worship, the music portion of the worship is the expression of emotion( either from God or to Him) and the lyric is the expression of the mind of God or the mind of men to God.
For example, the young people’s sound is the sound of Samson, the sound of agitation or the sound of alarm that is designed to rally the troops, to awaken them from slumber and to uncover the enemy which is in the midst of the people.  As a rule it tends to irritate and agitate the spirit.   Some might say it isn’t worship because it doesn’t make you feel the way other worship makes you feel….but that concept is Operative theology not Biblical theology.  True worship always is defined by the message…..and some of those messages are not designed to make you feel good but to bring you into agreement with the message of heaven and the heart of God as HE expresses it.  So we have this war cry of the young ones that is agitating the body at a time when the church needs to seriously be rising up to go to war and to meet with God to begin pushing back the works of the flesh(the phillistines) and the works of darkness in the church(*Can you think of anything in the last 10 years to be alarmed about?*).
It is when we see the message of heaven through the sound and the lyric that we begin to understand the various roles for the different generations of worship styles……they all have a place and a role…..kind of like a set of tools in a carpenters chest, you use different ones depending on what is going on in the Spirit.  For example if there is a strong demonic spirit of hopelessness or fear over the congregation, that would be a time to employ a hymn that moves in the opposite spirit from hopelessness(like Great is thy faithfulness or something).  Hymns are tools for raising up a standard against the enemy when he comes in like a flood, and for sowing the doctrines of God into the hearts of men.  The scripture memory songs from Hosanna are modern day examples of this.
Worship is going to become a lot more balanced as we begin to see what the FATHER uses these different worship sounds for.  When we see what HE uses jazz and rock and blues and country and classical and other musical styles for…….his purposes in them then things will start to come into balance as we begin to prophetically perceive the order of God in the body of Christ.  Otherwise we will have just another wrestling match over whose flesh is to get pleased and the worship team and creative people will be the rope.

God bless…….

The invasion is about to begin…. November 8, 2007

We are like Britain, preparing for the invasion of normandy pre-June 1944.  Everyone is getting to their assigned positions.  Some are being moved away to be placed in their battle groups, others are being moved here.  Some are in the air, others are at sea, some are on land.  Some are tank commanders, others are army special rangers going far inland to do special ops, still others are engineers, mechanics, medics, chaplains……….everyone has a part and there is a building excitement that something good is about to come.

Meanwhile, in the army of the enemy, there is a mad scramble by the forces of darkness to shore up their defenses.  The power of fear is rampant, through propaganda and threats, to keep the people from seeing their deliverance is at hand.  Atrocities are being committed.  The Princes are moving in their heavy artillery, trying to anticipate where the King will make his landing……….where?  Where? WHERE?

But it is all for naught………the power of darkness is breaking and soon the dawn will burst forward…..and the spiritual countries that he has kept in darkness will be free……..We will land with a force of a hurricane…..with power……with the glory of God.  The cost will be high…….but it will be worth it.   Jesus will receive His reward, for He is worthy and worthy to be praised and honored and served, He will have his reward in the earth……

And we are the army of light being prepared to launch this massive invasion………….Are you getting the mindset yet?

So God is moving upon me……..and others……He is changing my mindset…….changing my attitude and getting me to re-think my whole life………..He wants me to begin to see the  elements of HOW he wants these mountains taken…….like General Eisenhower planning the D-Day invasion.  He wants me to see how the different things I am engaged in my life are designed to connect together……..how my outside-the-church parts and the inside-the-church parts co-operate to fufill his vision.

More than that he wants me to be certain, 100 percent certain of what He wants me to do…….He wants me to really get it…….He really wants me to come to Him in Heaven and be changed.  God wants a face to face meeting, and I know it.

That’s just plain scary.

Know why?  Because it means you cannot go back to being mediocre.  Would I be happy being mediocre?  No…….but facing the giants in the Land is a pretty tall order, a huge order………and God says He will be with me the whole way………question is:  Do I trust Him and Do I trust His Judgment?  The greatest fear is NOT the fear of death, but the fear that your hero will not get through(that’s Oswald Chambers).

Being left out in the lurch without a saviour to show up.  I have had a few times where I hung myself out to dry because I didn’t have a clue…….what if the one time I make the huge commitment and it’s just me?  Of course that’s the enemy talking……….The Lord will be with me in both FAILURE and in SUCCESS……and my pride and perfectionism wants to get it right the first time and not suffer through the embarassment of failing to get it right………….but how else will I get there if I don’t try.

“Just try something!” God says, “I will be with you.  I’d rather have you fail trying then not to try at all.  That is why I am not TOO upset about your recent failures…..because son, at least you are trying………Just keep trying and don’t give up!”

It’s time to change your mindset quickly, change your attitude and focus.  See where God gave you your passions…..what fires you up and how they are connected together to fulfill a corporate vision.  So I have:  A writing gift, A passion for creativity, A passion for worship, A passion for the Tabernacle of David, A passion to encourage leaders, A passion to see creativity restored in the church and in the culture, A passion for computers, A passion for art and music, A passion to release people to be who they are creatively meant to be, A passion to break down the mindsets against creativity in the Church, A passion to see the Church realistically invade the culture without seeing their best soldiers get captured.

I am beginning to connect the dots on ME……to see how one leads to another, and how they come together to form ONE complete thought:  Can you see it?

I want to recommend this teaching by Lance Wallnau that will help many of you creative people who are wanting to invade the culture and transform it to know what to do and how to clarify where you are going and how to get there.  The biggest issue that hit me was the issue of clarifying your secular assignment versus your ministry Vision.

Oftentimes we are confused because we feel a sense of guilt about wanting something that is part of our secular assignment.  People who are called to secular arts…..like music for example feel guilty because they want to enter into a secular arena that is currently controlled by a false priesthood because they think that they should want ’spiritual’ things more not realizing that God has put that desire in their hearts on purpose and wants them at this time to WANT the secular assingment more.

The reason is that the secular assignment is often the platform upon which the ministry vision is accomplished.  So God may give you a assignment to invade hollywood or secular music or wall street to lay a groundwork for a ministry vision either there or in some other region or area of the world.  God uses you in your secular assignment to bring His Order to that region or arena of the culture………You co-operate with HIS Spirit and His Spirit begins to control that region through you.  This allows the finances, the creativity, the systems of that arena to be used for the ministry vision in the church and in service to the Spirit’s vision in the Church.  One isn’t against the other, one is used to support the vision of the other.

So God may have both a secular assignment outside of the church and a ministry vision in the church…..and right  now you may want the secular assingment more……this is not a bad thing, but a good thing.  Because God is wanting to lay a foundation for the ministry vision which will come AFTER you begin to step into your secular assignment.

Stop feeling guilty about it…….God has made you that way on purpose.

Invading the Culture:Core Principle September 1, 2007

Luke 4:18

18“The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to release the oppressed,”

The Main purpose of the invasion of the culture by God is to fulfill Luke 4:18

We are NOT trying to do what the world does better than them.  We are trying to do something that the world CANNOT do and has never even thought of doing:  Bringing a Level of Creativity that opens the door for a close encounter with the manifest presence of God.

To so infuse our creativity with the message that is proceeding out of the mouth of God that those that hear it are brought into an atmosphere and an  environment where they can genuinely encounter the Spirit of the Lord.

Read the Following from Exodus 31:

“2 See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:

3 And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,

4 To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

5 And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.

6 And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee;”

This is not just your ordinary creative person here……….nor is this just creativity out of the soul, but it is a creativity that is in union with the SPIRIT OF THE LORD.  A literal co-operation with God that transcends normal creativity.  When a person reaches this place, they begin to co-operate with the Spirit of the Lord and He begins to reveal plans, designs and creative ideas that allows God to express His heart through creative lives in real and powerful ways:

1.  A person who likes to cook can receive recipes from heaven that bring the tastes and smells of heaven literally to earth.  When people smell and eat this food, it reminds them of a home they never knew they had

2. A person who likes to make clothes is given designs from heaven’s storehouse that reflect the beauty and glory of God in heaven and people cannot help but to wear them.

3. A person who is interested in business has dreams where he sees stock market symbols dancing up and down and God giving him foreknowledge on what to invest in

4. A person who is a musician being taken to heaven and hearing the sounds of heaven and being given divine sounds to release on earth.

All of these examples are for the purpose of creating an atmosphere and environment where God the Father can enter into different situations and engage people in a personal an intimate way.  But it is more that just excellent creativity, but a deep and personal co-operating that teaches us how to work WITH the Spirit of the Lord on a new level.  It’s more than what we have been doing…….its far closer and more intimate and involves close, personal encounters with the Spirit of the Lord.

How is this going to be done?  Through the Tabernacle of David that He will raise up in the last days, that’s how.  Think of it as a Holy Spirit Jacuzzi if you will…..a place where the whirlwind of the Spirit is constantly moving.  Different creative people enter into this whirlwind to learn to interact with the Holy Spirit in Real and tangible ways, because in this environment the veil between heaven and earth is lifted and we can begin to engage heaven directly in real and tangible ways.  When creative people leave this environment, they are like those in exodus 31……not just creative, but creative WITH the Spirit of the Lord.

That is what I believe the Lord is after…….not just creativity, but something significantly beyond creativity………a body of people who are like an open door between heaven and earth, giving the Father the access He needs to engage human lives in real and powerful ways.  Humanity and the Culture will never be changed by anything that comes out of YOU, but if through your agreement with heaven you can use your creativity to cause God to act, THEN the culture can be changed.  That is the heart of how we will do it and also the heart of why we have not been doing it up until now.

MWD thought…. August 20, 2007

This is about the previous post Maneuver warfare doctrine………After I wrote it I saw this on the word for the week on morningstarministries.org. This is about the restoration issues concerning the effects of Hurricane Katrina. There were Three Phases: Rescue, Stabilization and Restoration……

“We also began to quickly understand that the kind of person who seems to thrive in Phase I would languish in Phase II or III. The kind of person who would do well in Phase II would not do as well in Phase I or III; the kind of person needed for Phase III will almost certainly get in the way in Phase I and II. Everyone who came for the relief efforts sincerely wanted to help, but if they did not come at the right time and get involved in the right place or phase, they usually became a liability instead of a help.”

It’s getting everyone into their part…….operating in their part…….Much of the way to deal with the confusion thrown at us is to have people operating in their position…..knowing who God is for them and who HE sees them to be. Once they understand what Kind of WORD they are in the mouth of the Father and their Role in the Expression of His Message, things tend to function a lot more effectively.

The confusion in the battle of France was that the allies did not fully understand or relate to the truth, so they didn’t fully understand who they were in the context of that truth. You need to face the truth of God to know who you are. Once you know who you are and what God is saying then you know where the counterfeits are coming in and how to deal with them.

But it is getting the WHOLE BODY to learn that. Because as Maneuver Warfare demonstrates, having a few strongpoints(leadership) is not enough………the enemy will just swarm around those places and cut off the supply from the rear. We need a body of people who are interacting with the Father so that when the flood comes, even if something happens that the leadership does not forsee, the body can respond because they are recognizing and responding to what is going on in the field. This can result in confusion, but it is better to have a confusion from people taking too much action, then not enough.

Maneuver Warfare Doctrine August 20, 2007

This is what we are going to be dealing with in the church in general and what the enemy is going to attempt in this next phase of battle. This is off of the battle of France stuff that I have been studying that the Lord directed me to study concerning the next move of God. The excerpt is below:

Battle of France

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_France

Maneuver warfare doctrine

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manoeuvre_warfare

Excerpt.

Maneuver Warfare Doctrine

According to the United States Marine Corps, one key concept of Maneuver Warfare is that while maneuver is traditionally thought of as a spatial concept, that is the use of maneuver so as to gain positional advantage. The U.S. Marine concept of maneuver however is a “warfighting philosophy that seeks to shatter the enemy’s cohesion through a variety of rapid, focused, and unexpected actions which create a turbulent and rapidly deteriorating situation with which the enemy cannot cope.”^[3] <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manoeuvre_warfare#_note-2> The U.S. Marine manual goes on to say: “This is not to imply that firepower is unimportant. On the contrary, firepower is central to maneuver warfare. Nor do we mean to imply that we will pass up the opportunity to physically destroy the enemy. We will concentrate fires and forces at decisive points to destroy enemy elements when the opportunity presents itself and when it fits our larger purposes.”

The possibility of a massive Soviet offensive in Western Europe led to the creation of the United States Army’s AirLand battle doctrine Link. Though far from focusing on maneuver, it emphasized using combined arms to disrupt an adversary’s plans by striking through their depth and was seen as moving towards Maneuver Warfare in comparison to the earlier Active Defense. The AirLand doctrine was seen by Martin van Creveld as “arguably a half way house between maneuver and attrition.

The military concept of /Rapid Dominance/ or /Shock and awe <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shock_and_awe>/ was put forward by airpower theorists a form of maneuver warfare. Shock and awe emphasized high amounts of communication and rapid strikes using airpower and missiles to create confusion in the enemy. It relied heavily on air power, large amounts of central coordination, and focuses on destroying the enemy’s command and control structures rather than its supply lines. Implementing this doctrine in the 2003 <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003> U.S. invasion of Iraq <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003_invasion_of_Iraq>, overwhelming U.S. mobility and firepower allowed a (relatively) small number of U.S. forces to categorically defeat what had originally been presented as a much larger opposing force which would be fighting from fixed strongpoints. The drive to Baghdad was characterized not so much by the destruction of Iraqi forces as by U.S. forces swarming around and past known enemy strongpoints and capturing key cities, transportation assets, and other centers of tactical importance. Post-battle analysis, however, demonstrated that much of the hype behind the airpower theories of /Shock and Awe <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shock_and_Awe>/ were exaggerated. The enemy was already so self-delusional and therefore de facto decentralized that airpower delivered firepower deep behind the lines was redundant. Indeed, had communications from the top been permitted to continue the confusion endemic to the Hussein regime would likely have made the defenses even worse than they were when American ground units destroyed them.”

End excerpt.

So the idea is to do 2 things: To break down the chain of command’s ability to cope with anything imparting fear and confusion. Secondly it is to swarm around the strongpoints in the church to envelop and cut off the supply chain so as to kill the move in the church. That is what has essentially happened in the moves of God that my family has been in over the last 50 years. The enemy got the leadership focused on a theological truth, or manifestations of that truth, or selfish ambitions or their own dreams and off of the message that proceeds out of the mouth of the Father, because the power flows from that agreement……that is our supply.

The Spirit of Antichrist is the main operator in this attempt to kill the move of God—-He’s like a spirit that pretends to be the Holy Spirit. He is depicted in 2 places.

In the first place He is described by the four molts of the locust in Joel 2. The four molts of the locust in joel 2 do 4 things:

1. The first molt eats the fruit of the tree—the fruits of the holy spirit
2. the second molt eats the leaves——the fellowship of the saints.
3. the third molt eats the bark of the tree—destroys the covering over the church
4. the fourth molt gnaws into the heart of the tree and kills the tree

He is also revealed in the four horseman of Revelation

1. The White Horse comes in as a pretended hero, with a bow but no arrows and a crown that is given to him by man. His power comes from man and it is the attempted merging of the spiritual authority of the church with natural authority……

2. The red Horse rider comes with a sword blood red with the blood of the saints. Once the authority is established, the spirit changes form and begins to consolidate power by persecuting every one that doesn’t believe or agree with their idea of how it should go until there is a unity by conformity

3. The black Horse rider then comes in and begins to start a number of naturally born, human driver projects that require money and so schemes are raised up to raise money to drive the machinery of the church. A historical example of this is the sale of indulgences(get out of hell free cards).

4. The pale horse rider is where spiritual death enters the church and the church becomes a conduit for the evil church to infect other people and other churches.

the only way to identify this spirit is to know Christ because He is the only way you can identify this spirit. The Antichrist Spirit is the Fifth I will of Satan and it is a spirit so close to the real that it could deceive the very elect if possible. It’s whole purpose is to distract the body from the face and message of the heart of the Father onto ANYTHING that is secondary to those things.

The most effective time for this spirit to operate is, funnily enough, in the middle of a Revival. It uses the confusion and outbreak of the move to attempt to turn the vision onto secondary issues. This manouever warfare is a natural example of how the coming warfare against the church will work and why the old way of structuring churches and church leadership will fail. The next way of warfare of the enemy is designed with our old form of church leadership in mind and will take advantage of its inherent flaws………..
