Lord, you are so good to me
Teach me how to love, to live and to be
With You, in You and through You
To others……To the world
Show me how to love
To be satisfied in you
Let the radiance of you fill my vision
Your light to sustain me
Your love to be a river flowing through
To others…….To the world
To the little ones, the lost ones
To the ones bound in prison…..in chains
Show me the way out of my messes…….
Show me how to be with you
I want to listen to your heartbeat
To learn to love….to be still………
Living water flow………let the river flow through my heart
Let it roll in waves…..waves of love, life and truth
Satisfied…….at rest………..in you…..
That is what I want…….rest in you
The fight has gone out of me
I realize I was fighting with you
Now I want to be at rest in you
Satisfied in you
Walking with you…..in the cool of the day….
That is my goal…..that is my heart….
Thank you Lord, for saving me from myself
For bringing me to rest in you
For teaching me to be
Now teach me to love like you love
To live for You…….that is my heart.

God you are good
and you love me……
and you love me……
I know it.
I fall down, I run into walls
I trip over myself
But you are right there
year after year, year after year……
I can See………
You are always there
With a smile and a heartfelt hug
You remember my frame
You can see that I am dust
And you bend down and breathe mercy upon me
I love you……with the love you gave me
I love you…….
And your heart, it reaches out to me
And gives me hope to carry on
To keep fighting, To keep loving, believing, living
For you.
Your Unfailing love pours out like a river
Breaking down my walls, Breaking down my defenses
My resistance fails and you rush in
With Hope and Faith………..And most of all………
Love.
I am thankful you are with me………that your hand is all around me
Shaping, Setting me in my place, and teaching me to be
A man of God led by the highest……..I am so grateful……

Turning this Samson into a Samuel August 17, 2008

One of the chief things God is dealing with in our generation is the Samson attitude. He will no longer tolerate anointing without holiness. He is moving us from Samson’s to Samuel’s. In the wilderness which is represented by the feast of pentecost, leaven was allowed……but when they came out of the wilderness into the promised land, represented by tabernacles, no leaven was allowed.
We are about to go forth in a major spiritual move against the enemy. God is allowing all hidden things to be made known. All of our leaders are, like Aaron, being stripped in front of all Israel and publicly washed. Generals are being demoted to privates, and privates are being promoted to Generals as the Lord of Hosts begins to take over His Church and set it in HIS order instead of man’s. Those who have been Uzzahs are being taken out and replaced with those who will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.
Let us not get to flippant here……..everyone is up for this purifying fire………everyone is going to go through the cleaning process……because we are going to war and when we do, the enemy cannot have any place in us. This move of God is a real move of God………and this one isn’t going to be dependent on one man……but on an attitude of heart and mind to pursue the Lord. We need to submit ourselves to the judgment of the Lord so we can be used by the Lord for His purposes. I need to become HIS man………not just my own man……….I am guilty as much as any leader…….and I cannot play games with His purposes anymore.
The Solemn Decree August 1, 2008

This is my decree……my solemn vow
I do not wish to go back
I will never go back
To my old life………..
I will not play Christian
nor spiritual,
nor to please men
nor to brood on hopeless things
nor to dwell on the past
nor to fear the future
I will look to you…….with hope and patience
I am not playing games
I will fight
I will thank you
I will praise
I will worship
I will pray
I will sumbit
I will surrender
I will tear everything out of my life
That gets in the way
I will close every door,
that threatens my love of you,
I will walk through every door
That you are in.
I will do everything you ask me to do
Even if it kills me…………Help me Lord to stand…
I do not love my sin more than you
I will not make idols out of people or things
I make a covenant with my eyes and ears
I make a covenant with my mouth
No unclean thing, no evil thing will enter them
I will fight to the death to keep my borders.
Satan, you are put on notice
The door is closed
The fight is on
The line in the sand is drawn
For real this time
not between me and others,
but between me and you
And the Lord will help me hold that line.
I get it now………stand still……
After all these years………
Like King of the Mountain
I must hold my position against the onslaught that will come……
Come Lord…….Come my brothers
It is time to stand……..and fight.
I will fight………to the death.
And this time……I……..we…….will win.
