To His Majesty

This is about the previous post Maneuver warfare doctrine………After I wrote it I saw this on the word for the week on morningstarministries.org. This is about the restoration issues concerning the effects of Hurricane Katrina. There were Three Phases: Rescue, Stabilization and Restoration……

“We also began to quickly understand that the kind of person who seems to thrive in Phase I would languish in Phase II or III. The kind of person who would do well in Phase II would not do as well in Phase I or III; the kind of person needed for Phase III will almost certainly get in the way in Phase I and II. Everyone who came for the relief efforts sincerely wanted to help, but if they did not come at the right time and get involved in the right place or phase, they usually became a liability instead of a help.”

It’s getting everyone into their part…….operating in their part…….Much of the way to deal with the confusion thrown at us is to have people operating in their position…..knowing who God is for them and who HE sees them to be. Once they understand what Kind of WORD they are in the mouth of the Father and their Role in the Expression of His Message, things tend to function a lot more effectively.

The confusion in the battle of France was that the allies did not fully understand or relate to the truth, so they didn’t fully understand who they were in the context of that truth. You need to face the truth of God to know who you are. Once you know who you are and what God is saying then you know where the counterfeits are coming in and how to deal with them.

But it is getting the WHOLE BODY to learn that. Because as Maneuver Warfare demonstrates, having a few strongpoints(leadership) is not enough………the enemy will just swarm around those places and cut off the supply from the rear. We need a body of people who are interacting with the Father so that when the flood comes, even if something happens that the leadership does not forsee, the body can respond because they are recognizing and responding to what is going on in the field. This can result in confusion, but it is better to have a confusion from people taking too much action, then not enough.

This is what we are going to be dealing with in the church in general and what the enemy is going to attempt in this next phase of battle. This is off of the battle of France stuff that I have been studying that the Lord directed me to study concerning the next move of God. The excerpt is below:

Maneuver Warfare Doctrine

According to the United States Marine Corps, one key concept of Maneuver Warfare is that while maneuver is traditionally thought of as a spatial concept, that is the use of maneuver so as to gain positional advantage. The U.S. Marine concept of maneuver however is a “warfighting philosophy that seeks to shatter the enemy’s cohesion through a variety of rapid, focused, and unexpected actions which create a turbulent and rapidly deteriorating situation with which the enemy cannot cope.”^[3] <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manoeuvre_warfare#_note-2> The U.S. Marine manual goes on to say: “This is not to imply that firepower is unimportant. On the contrary, firepower is central to maneuver warfare. Nor do we mean to imply that we will pass up the opportunity to physically destroy the enemy. We will concentrate fires and forces at decisive points to destroy enemy elements when the opportunity presents itself and when it fits our larger purposes.”

The possibility of a massive Soviet offensive in Western Europe led to the creation of the United States Army’s AirLand battle doctrine Link. Though far from focusing on maneuver, it emphasized using combined arms to disrupt an adversary’s plans by striking through their depth and was seen as moving towards Maneuver Warfare in comparison to the earlier Active Defense. The AirLand doctrine was seen by Martin van Creveld as “arguably a half way house between maneuver and attrition.

The military concept of /Rapid Dominance/ or /Shock and awe <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shock_and_awe>/ was put forward by airpower theorists a form of maneuver warfare. Shock and awe emphasized high amounts of communication and rapid strikes using airpower and missiles to create confusion in the enemy. It relied heavily on air power, large amounts of central coordination, and focuses on destroying the enemy’s command and control structures rather than its supply lines. Implementing this doctrine in the 2003 <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003> U.S. invasion of Iraq <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003_invasion_of_Iraq>, overwhelming U.S. mobility and firepower allowed a (relatively) small number of U.S. forces to categorically defeat what had originally been presented as a much larger opposing force which would be fighting from fixed strongpoints. The drive to Baghdad was characterized not so much by the destruction of Iraqi forces as by U.S. forces swarming around and past known enemy strongpoints and capturing key cities, transportation assets, and other centers of tactical importance. Post-battle analysis, however, demonstrated that much of the hype behind the airpower theories of /Shock and Awe <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shock_and_Awe>/ were exaggerated. The enemy was already so self-delusional and therefore de facto decentralized that airpower delivered firepower deep behind the lines was redundant. Indeed, had communications from the top been permitted to continue the confusion endemic to the Hussein regime would likely have made the defenses even worse than they were when American ground units destroyed them.”

So the idea is to do 2 things: To break down the chain of command’s ability to cope with anything imparting fear and confusion. Secondly it is to swarm around the strongpoints in the church to envelop and cut off the supply chain so as to kill the move in the church. That is what has essentially happened in the moves of God that my family has been in over the last 50 years. The enemy got the leadership focused on a theological truth, or manifestations of that truth, or selfish ambitions or their own dreams and off of the message that proceeds out of the mouth of the Father, because the power flows from that agreement……that is our supply.

The Spirit of Antichrist is the main operator in this attempt to kill the move of God—-He’s like a spirit that pretends to be the Holy Spirit. He is depicted in 2 places.

In the first place He is described by the four molts of the locust in Joel 2. The four molts of the locust in joel 2 do 4 things:

1. The first molt eats the fruit of the tree—the fruits of the holy spirit
2. the second molt eats the leaves——the fellowship of the saints.
3. the third molt eats the bark of the tree—destroys the covering over the church
4. the fourth molt gnaws into the heart of the tree and kills the tree

He is also revealed in the four horseman of Revelation

1. The White Horse comes in as a pretended hero, with a bow but no arrows and a crown that is given to him by man. His power comes from man and it is the attempted merging of the spiritual authority of the church with natural authority……

2. The red Horse rider comes with a sword blood red with the blood of the saints. Once the authority is established, the spirit changes form and begins to consolidate power by persecuting every one that doesn’t believe or agree with their idea of how it should go until there is a unity by conformity

3. The black Horse rider then comes in and begins to start a number of naturally born, human driver projects that require money and so schemes are raised up to raise money to drive the machinery of the church. A historical example of this is the sale of indulgences(get out of hell free cards).

4. The pale horse rider is where spiritual death enters the church and the church becomes a conduit for the evil church to infect other people and other churches.

the only way to identify this spirit is to know Christ because He is the only way you can identify this spirit. The Antichrist Spirit is the Fifth I will of Satan and it is a spirit so close to the real that it could deceive the very elect if possible. It’s whole purpose is to distract the body from the face and message of the heart of the Father onto ANYTHING that is secondary to those things.

The most effective time for this spirit to operate is, funnily enough, in the middle of a Revival. It uses the confusion and outbreak of the move to attempt to turn the vision onto secondary issues. This manouever warfare is a natural example of how the coming warfare against the church will work and why the old way of structuring churches and church leadership will fail. The next way of warfare of the enemy is designed with our old form of church leadership in mind and will take advantage of its inherent flaws………..

The key to the transformation of the Culture lies in combining your creativity with the message the proceeds from the mouth of the Father in Heaven. When Jesus did only what He saw his Father do and say only what He saw his Father say it was due to the fact that he was obeying a spiritual principle.

The principle goes like this: When my creativity is woven through the Father’s message it is impregnated with the overcoming life of the Father and when people are brought into agreement with that life it unveils their mind and affects their soul man and awakens a longing in them for heaven. But the opposite is also true: If I bring them into agreement with a false message their minds are veiled and darkened and they cannot see what is right in front of them. This is why it is important to understand the difference between creating out of the soul versus creating out of the Spirit.

When I create out of the Spirit, I am learning to co-operate with the Holy Spirit, taking the thread of my creativity and weaving it through God’s message. This creativity can either be targeted for arenas within or without the church. God is clever enough to gear his message for any arena……but they key to transformation is my willingness to stay faithful to the message the whole way through.

This is where the temptation of Jesus factors into our lives. As we are going through these arenas of the culture, God allows the enemy to offer us shortcuts to the top of the mountain…..this is used to test our motives……are we really following God or our our secondary purposes? Satan offers us a quick way to the top of the mountain, but one that brings us out of agreement with the message of the Father and into agreement with the false message of the enemy. This results in a darkening of the mind and a veiling of the heart from realities.

This is what happens to many Christians as they try to invade the culture……they ‘temporarily’ agree with the false message thinking that they will only agree until they get established in the mountain…..but as Jesus reveals, you either have to build your foundation on the Rock(the message of the Father) or the Sand(the false message of people’s opinions)……you cannot change the foundation once you start building. Predictably their minds are darkened and within a short period of time they become parrots for the system and do relatively little damage to the kingdom and very little change on the mountain.

When you are in agreement with a wrong message it is kind of like having a very powerful truck stuck in the mud. You are exerting maximum pressure, but getting very little ground. I have watched leaders in ministries in churches burn themselves out because they were in agreement with the wrong message. Jesus said that His yoke was easy and His burden was light, but that requires you to understand where He is going and what He wants to do…….oftentimes our co-operation with a message out of political correctness or a desire to make peace brings a body of people into agreement with something that darkens their minds.

This is how the enemy is able to walk into a revival atmosphere and turn it away from the Lord. In fact in some ways it is harder to follow the Lord when the anointing is strong because we get so easily distracted from the Message of the Father to the Effects of the Spirit that are going on. And because the anointing can still produce effects even when the Spirit is not present(Elisha’s bones are a good example) and the gifts and callings are without repentance, we can go a long way the wrong way because the effects are still working. We can be far away from God before we realize that we are off message.

The key is in understanding this: The only thing that can awaken a human soul to God is the Life of the Father touching their lives and that only happens when they are brought into agreement with the message of the Father……No other message will have that effect. That is the essential problem in the Church and in Christians invading the culture……you cannot transform the culture unless you get the FATHER’S MESSAGE to the top of the mountain of culture……getting any other message their won’t work, because the other messages are not impregnated with the Father’s life….and the Father’s Life is what works the transformation.

Too often we are settling for second best because the best is too costly to bear up to the top of these arenas of culture. Satan works hard at making it costly……like a mountain that is fortified with enemy troops in world war 2 that the allies have to take…….their is going to have to be a lot of sacrifice to take the fortified mountain. Are you willing to be the Stephen on your mountain of the Culture that opens the way for the others to take the mountain? That is the essence of our need……..a body of believers who are willing to lay their lives down to get the Father’s message to the top……and that is the essence of our failures up to this point.

There are no shortcuts to the top.

God wants to place me in situations where His Presence in Me can affect those around me. The life that flows from my agreement with His Heart and His word is what transforms others lives. It is this river of life and truth and peace and flows out of my inner being from Him and my relationship that can affect and change those around me.

That river flows from agreement with every word that is proceeding out of the mouth of the Father. There is a connection between where Jesus is tempted and says “Man shall not live on bread alone but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Father.” And when he says to Peter “Flesh and blood did not reveal this to you but my Father in Heaven.” He then goes on to talk about how this type of relationship is the rock that the church will be built on that the rulers of hell will not be able to stand against it.

He then connects this to a model of two houses. One built on the Rock(the Revelation of the message from the Father) and one built on the sand(the shifting sands of people’s opinion). He shows how the storms of life cause the one built on people to fall down and the one built on the Father’s message stands strong.

That is why it is important to understand that God does not build anything on the ground of the vehicle of fame. God never uses fame as a foundation to build any of His work, nor is it the vehicle through which people are brought to Christ. It is a foundation that is built on the opinion of man more so than the agreement with the Father and His message. Somebody can be famous, but counting on that fame to fulfill the purposes of Christ is folly, for it is like a foundation built on the sand…..when the storms come it will fall and people will  flee away.

People’s lives are changed when the encounter the Father and the Holy Spirit convicts them of their sin. In no other way can man be changed other than an encounter with God in a deep and personal way. We facilitate that through the agreement of our lives with the message that proceeds out of the mouth of the Father. We take THAT message and express it through our lives, through our creativity and the life that is woven into that message that is from the love and life of the Father touches people’s lives and opens a door for them to receive the truth.

It is IMPORTANT to understand that NO OTHER MESSAGE will have that transforming effect. Satan’s WHOLE STRATEGY is to get you proclaiming A MESSAGE but not THE MESSAGE. He doesn’t care if your message is good….as long as you are not obeying God and speaking what God speaks…..it doesn’t have that essential life that changes people’s hearts. That’s the real issue here……not just using my creativity to speak, sing, write, or draw a message but the message that is proceeding from the Father…..that is the message that carries the power to change human hearts.

If I am willing to obey God and to faithfully bring His message through my creativity and to stay on that message through the temptations and the resistance I will have in the mountains ahead, then there will come a time where like Joseph, I may be in a dungeon but I will be promoted to the top of the mountain………God is using my present circumstances to condition me to stand and to succeed in being established on whatever mountain of the culture He has called me to.

This doesn’t mean that you cannot go to certain mountains of the Culture……..but the key is, like Jesus, don’t count on the fame to last or to get you anywhere. Jesus was famous for a season, but because he was faithful to His Father’s message it cost Him his fame and His life. Why? Because Jesus told the people what the NEEDED to hear not what the WANTED to hear. Jesus told them the truth…..He did it in a way that was culturally relevant and not overly religious in its delivery…..but they disliked it regardless…..

That is always the problem with us…..we like the whole triumphal entry…..but it’s the seven days later when the mob that WAS cheering “Hosanna!” is now shouting “Crucify Him!” It’s when being faithful to the message brings us into that position that we find out who we really serve.
